United Sky invites all student pilots who have passed the ATPL theory exams to take our CPL + MEP+ME/IR course, which is highly regarded in the aviation industry. This course will provide you with the highest standards of flight operations, facilitating a smooth transition to your first airline job.
Theoretical training for the ATPL(A) line license. If you have a valid PPL(A), this course is the next step in your career development. You will gain key knowledge in the following areas: general navigation, operational procedures, flight planning and monitoring, aviation law, performance, meteorology and radio navigation.
Training for people with a CPL license who want to continue their development in commercial aviation. This course will prepare you to collaborate effectively in a multi-crew and help you better understand complex aviation systems. You will learn to work effectively in a team and communicate with a co-pilot, and you will also develop the ability to fly a multi-engine jet.
Integrated training, intended for people with a PPL(A) license. You will gain the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will allow you to prevent and regain control of the aircraft. You will learn how to do it effectively and with care for your own safety and that of your passengers.
The course is intended for people who have a valid EASA Commercial Pilot License (CPL). If you want to train as a professional aviation instructor, this is the perfect training for you. Not only will you deepen your theoretical and practical knowledge, but you will also gain piloting skills and learn to train others.
We will help you prepare for airline recruitment. The workshops are held in small groups and are conducted by a pilot-aviation psychologist with extensive experience in recruiting and assessing candidates and an airline pilot with extensive knowledge of ATPL and operational issues.

Training
To start any of our courses you must have at least an EASA PPL(A) licence. If you want to join the CPL + MEP + ME/IR training, you need ATP(L) theory and 70 hours of command flight (PIC). In addition, you need an EASA medical class 1 certificate and an EU/UK passport or Schengen visa.

All people who start training at UnitedSky already have a PPL(A) tourist aircraft pilot license. It can be obtained at any aviation school. If you already have a PPL license, you can continue your education as a professional pilot. At UnitedSky we provide all necessary courses, including ATPL theoretical training, CPL + MEP + ME/IR integrated training as well as MCC/JOC, AUPRT, FI training. Yes. At UnitedSky, we train people both from Poland and abroad. We perfectly understand how important effective communication in an international environment is as a professional pilot. All lectures, training materials and exams are available in English. Our staff is an international team of instructors with extensive experience in training people from Poland and foreigners. Theoretical and practical examinations can be taken under any EASA body.
ATP(L) theoretical training, including exams, may take approximately one year. Practical training for CPL, ME/IR, MCC and AUPRT qualifications can be completed in up to 12 weeks.
The CPL + MEP + ME/IR modular training includes 9 hours of theoretical lectures, 40 simulator exercises and 40 hours of flight in an airplane. If you do practice and theory at the same time, you can complete the course in 8 weeks.
All students who start learning with us have already obtained a PPL license. The next step is theoretical ATPL training. Passing the theory is required to take the integrated CPL + MEP + ME/IR course. We encourage you to take part in the ATPL course at UnitedSky, which you can sign up for here.
Requirements
It all depends on the type and extent of the defect. If the defect was detected during medical examinations, you probably need to use correction and wear glasses. It is essential to carry a spare pair with you during flight operations. The permissible limit value of vision defect is -5 diopters. If the defect worsens, Polish legal regulations prohibit further work as a pilot.
Age: Pilot age restrictions vary by license type. In the case of training for a PPL(A) tourist aircraft pilot license, you must be 16 years old before starting the theoretical part and 17 years old before taking your first flights.
In order to obtain a CPL(A) commercial pilot license, the minimum age is 18 years.
For an ATPL transport aircraft pilot license, the minimum age is 21 years.
The maximum age for a pilot is 65 years, with the possibility of extension to 70 years, provided that regular medical examinations and health requirements are met.
Weight: There are no regulations regarding the minimum and maximum weight of a professional pilot. However, class 2 obesity (with a BMI over 35) may be a problem.
Height: There are no regulations regarding the minimum and maximum height of a commercial pilot.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) sets health requirements for the pilot profession. Detailed guidelines can be found here.
Before registering for training, we recommend a doctor’s visit and check-ups to make sure that there are no contraindications to work in the profession. Before taking the tests and starting the course, factors such as obesity, diabetes, heart and circulatory system function, neurological problems and fainting should be taken into account. The research also assesses mental health.
Payment
All detailed cost information can be found in our price list. In addition to the amount for the course itself, you should also remember about additional costs, such as: landing fee and examiner. The aircraft rental for the test is included in the course price of EUR 20,000.
