PPL(A) Theory (in Polish) – weekend course
Whether you dream of becoming a commercial pilot, or you are a hobbyist who wants to fly for only pleasure, the first step is to obtain your Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL). It is a theoretical course that will introduce you to the secrets of aviation.
Theoretical courses are held in our new headquarters in the heart of Warsaw/Poland, on the 11th floor of the neo-modern building Widok Towers. You can choose between studying at weekends (7 times every other weekend, 8 hours a day) or at the evenings. After completing the theoretical course and passing internal tests (for a minimum of 75% in each subject), you will receive a certificate that authorizes you to start the practical part of the training.
PPL (A) Theory includes 100 hours of lectures in subjects such as:
- Aviation Law,
- Aircraft General Knowledge,
- Flight Performance and Planning,
- Human Performance and Limitations,
- Operational Procedures,
- Principles of Flight,
Many students opt to study the PPL theory in three or more blocks or modules, hence reducing the number of exams attempted at each sitting.
After you pass all the exams you will You will receive a PPL (A) Licence. It is a European licence complying with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards – in accordance with EASA – part FCL.
